This week’s homework is Creative homework and is due on Wednesday 13 October.
I can find 2D and 3D shapes around me!
Get creative. Have you thought about:
- A poster with shapes you’ve found in your bedroom
- Photos of 2D shapes in magazines
- Drawings of shapes in the buildings at school or home
- Walk around town and sketch the shapes that you see
- Cut out pictures from an old IKEA magazines and label the shapes you spot in their designs
There are loads of shapes around us, from cuboids to cylinders, from pentagons to parallelograms. Look at buildings, cars, toys and furniture. I’m looking forward to seeing what creative approaches you have to this homework!
