This week’s homework is Talk Time and is about our SEAL statement this week.
I can talk about how to keep calm or help others calm down.
Children should discuss ways of helping someone that is really upset, angry or sad, to calm down. They should also be able to talk about the sorts of things they do to calm down when they’re feeling upset.
We’ve done work in class on this theme, as well as in our SEAL assemblies, so children should have a lot of things to talk to adults at home about.
Please ensure that children have something written in their homework books, even if it’s just notes or bullet points, so that we can see that they’ve discussed it! A short comment from an adult at home would be great too.
