Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This page is for our children - advice to help you to stay safe and be a happy and healthy person.
We’re currently learning all about scripts in literacy and this week children have spent some time practising a performance of a script.
I’ve been really pleased with the hard work put in and pride children have taken in this work – there has been loads of teamwork and communication to get the stage directions right as well as fantastic acting.
Mrs Wilson also commented on how much she enjoyed watching them!
A big well done to the whole class.
