This week’s homework is Talk Time.
I can learn five new words to use in my writing.
After the success and popularity of the last homework like this, I have high hopes to see children using some more impressive and unusual language. Children should learn the meaning of new words and then practise using them in sentences.
I’ve asked children to learn these off by heart so no books are needed. On Wednesday, our usual homework hand-in day, children will be asked to use their new words in sentences to demonstrate their understanding of how to use them.
