The week, we’ve learnt how to write using varied sentences – just like the ones children did for homework, only more advanced still.
Today we imagined meeting a monster… Here are some amazing examples of some of the children sentences:
“On top of the mountain, I looked up at the cyclops, biting my nails while my legs shivered like a mouse.” (Ahmed)
“Under the bed, I hid from the monster so it couldn’t get me!” (Meva)
“Peeking over a huge boulder, I hid from the petrifying Minataur, mumbling to myself.” (Georgia)
“In the cave, which was as black as a dark night, I hid from the roaring dragon with my knees clattering.” (Iona)
