Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

The stage was set… the battle lines drawn… and the computers turned on!
Year 5 have just finished learning about the Ancient Greek city states of Sparta and Athens and their differences. Children took sides in their dispute and learnt lots about both places in the process. Teams then formed to create and present posters on either city state.
Athens had their say too.
They were even better up close!
