This half-term, we’ll be learning about graphs, averages, time and more on numbers and calculations. The data aspects of our learning will link nicely to our Big Topic, Snowbound, so expect lots of chatter about snowfall, temperatures and melting ice.
Already, many children are showing that they’re really switched on to maths this term. To name everyone that’s doing well would take ages, but an especially big well done to Henry, Georgia, Zakib and Luke, who have shown a particularly strong work ethic this term so far.
How can you help?
Learning about time is notoriously difficult to get your head around. Give your child support by helping them work out how long a bus ride is, asking how long it is until we eat dinner or other such time-related questions.
