World Book Day has just passed with some fantastic dressing up. In Year 5, we tied a lot of learning in with this theme. We read one of my favourite childhood books, Captain Pugwash, made graphs of how fast we read, created our own book complete with cover, did nautically-themed art and designed the inside of a pirate ship.
The quality of what was produced was really impressive. Have a look in the hall when you’re next in to see some examples of what the children produced.
