Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

Today in our Maths learning, we explored the idea of equal and unequal groups.
We had lots of fun finding different ways to group 10, 15, and 20 cubes into equal groups.
Help at home: Build with small objects. Use cubes, Lego or coins to make different equal groups (for example: 20 in groups of 2, 4, or 5).
