Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This week our wonderful Year 1s have had Safety Week. They have had a number of visitors this week: from the Police, to D:Side, to the British Military Martial Arts and more! The children all did really well and impressed us with their knowledge on how to stay safe in many different areas of life. Here are some of our favourite photos from the week:
