Noctua Teaching School Alliance
We’re very happy to be a founder member of Noctua Teaching School Alliance.
Teaching schools are outstanding schools that work with others to provide high-quality training and development to new and experienced school staff. They are part of the government’s plan to give schools a central role in raising standards by developing a self-improving and sustainable school-led system.
Teaching school alliances are led by a teaching school and include schools that are benefiting from support, as well as strategic partners who lead some aspects of training and development.
Formed in 2013-14, our alliance four strategic partners:
- Tranmere Park Primary School – the lead strategic partner
- Moortown Primary School
- Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School
- Manor Wood Primary School
Our partners include other schools, Leeds local authority and Educate Teacher Training. We work closely with other alliances to share knowledge and resources as a teaching school network.
Work we are currently involved in includes initial teacher training, new headteacher support and support for other schools.
Along with two other strategic partners, Moortown Primary School is a National Support School. See Awards and Partners for more information.
