Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This week, our homework is Practice Makes Perfect: To be able to solve addition and subtraction calculations and problems.
Children have been given a sheet with some addition and subtraction calculations/problems. I’d like children to have a go at these calculations independently so we can go through them in our homework review and identify any misconceptions.
Homework is due on Friday 28 September.
