Year 1 went on an amazing trip to Temple Newsam today! The weather was kind and the children were amazing!
We started off the day looking really carefully at the pigs. We learnt they are intelligent and actually very clean! We saw some piglets who had only been born on Tuesday – it was very exciting.
After that, we had to construct our own structure out of sticks (just like one of the three little pigs!). We tried really hard and I was really impressed with their buildings.
After lunch, we explored the farm even more and found lots of amazing animals. We even spotted a duck egg by the pond! Finally we had a play in the playground. I was very impressed with the children’s engagement, behaviour and stamina! We are very proud. Hope they sleep well tonight!
