This week’s spelling activity aims to help the children understand when to use different homophones. Practise using these spellings correctly in sentences and discuss ways to remember when to use which homophone – any good ideas you’ve got could be shared in class. There will be no test next week but we will share our spelling practice in our homework review on Thursday 17 October.
Having received feedback from parents, Year 3 and 4 will have no more than 20 spellings across a two week period to practise at home. There will be a test every other week where ten of these spellings will be tested. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask.
