Yesterday, Year 5 watched a live author event.
We were able to listen to fabulous writers JT Williams (Lizzie and Belle Mysteries), Maisie Chan (Keep Dancing Lizzie Chu) and Allen Fatimaharan. The children had time to think about what makes them ‘tick’ and if a story was about their life where would it be set. Year 5 were then asked to think about the past and draw a time machine to a portal at some point in time. Some portals were open to the time they were born, some where even open to the Ancient Egyptian times!
