As another week comes towards its end, our wonderful Year 1s have had another great one. Today our Year 1s and 2s went on a school trip to Abbey House Museum. This was to carry on their learning and deepen their understanding around their History topic; Toys. They took part in a workshop where they looked at different toys from the past and the present to see the differences between them and how they have changed over time.
They also got to take a step back in time and walk along the cobbled streets of Abbey House Museum to gain an understanding of what life looked like back in the late 1800s. Some of them even had the opportunity to experience what life was like in a prison cell in the late 19th century!
Well done on another great school trip Year 1!
