Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This page is for our children - advice to help you to stay safe and be a happy and healthy person.
Today our wonderful Year 1s have been working on their hand puppets, they have finished the first step of their design process’. Completing the design part of the process.
Today they learnt how to thread a needle and tie a knot. They also, chose their coloured felt for their hand puppets. Next DT lesson they will be starting the second stage of the design process, starting to sew them together.
