Some girls from Y3 and Y4 took part in a football festival today at Boston Spa Academy.
First, we took part in lots of fun games and drills to get our bodies warm and our feet used to football! We worked on things like passing, dribbling and communication.
After lunch, we played a mini tournament! It was really exciting to put our skills into practice against other schools.
Risk-taking, being ready and responsible weren’t the only 8Rs we were showcasing – we also had to be very resilient because it was extremely windy!
We represented Moortown by being polite, listening well and most importantly having lots of fun.
