Where do you come from?
I’m originally from Sheffield, but I moved to Leeds to attend university when I was 18 and have never looked back!
What is your favourite subject?
Although I come from a PE background, I’d have to say Reading just takes the top spot! I love getting lost in the many weird and wonderful worlds of books and trying to work out the twist at the end. Reading opens up so many doors without you ever leaving the room!
What is your favourite food?
I love all different types of food but I think my favourite is Mexican. What’s not to love about having all your favourite things wrapped up in a handy tortilla parcel?
What is your favourite animal?
This is a hard one to narrow down. If I have to pick though, I’d choose dogs. I will go out of my way to cross the road and pet a dog.
What is your favourite sport?
I play hockey for Ben Rhydding Ladies and have played the sport since I can remember. I would watch any sport given the chance, though!
Why did you want to become a teacher?
School is awesome and I’ve always thought so. I wanted a workplace that was different and inspiring, with something new happening every day. There is no sweeter feeling than seeing a light bulb moment or just generally seeing the children in my class be respectful, kind and work together.
