Q. Where do you come from?
A. I was born in Leeds and have lived here for most of my life. However, I was lucky enough to live in Australia for a while and spent six months living on a dairy farm and working in the local cheese factory! I was the chief cheese mincer, and spent all day mincing huge blocks of cheddar!
Q. What is your favourite subject?
A. I really like teaching maths. I enjoy teaching and learning the different strategies to help solve problems. I struggled with maths when I was at primary school, so I know how it feels when you don’t understand something.
Q. What is your favourite food?
A. Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. I could eat them for every meal of the day!
Q. What is your favourite animal?
A. I’m going to have to say cats. I’ve just got a very cute kitten called Dizzy. However, she is incredibly naughty. She loves climbing up the curtains, scratching sofas, and getting into as much mischief as she possibly can!
Q. What is your favourite sport?
A. I love sports. Football is probably my favourite sport and although I’m not a brilliant footballer, I really enjoy playing it. I’m also a keen mountain biker and love riding really fast through muddy trails!
Q. Why did you want to become a teacher?
A. I like to smile and laugh and have fun. Working as a teacher means that I’m able to do that every day.
