Class News

The scores are in!

Posted on Friday 22 May 2020 by Mrs Taylor

Last week, the Year 2 adults were set a challenge to try and identify members of the class based on their baby photos. We have thoroughly enjoyed looking through the photos and trying to match them up – some being easier than others! All the staff would like to say a big thank you for giving us this challenge. It was great fun and it definitely made us smile.

As requested, here are the scores and, with no cheating, the winner is…

Mrs Maqbool who felt very proud to get them all right and get 22 points!

In second place was Mrs Bharath with 20 points.

In joint third place was Mrs Freeman and Mrs Taylor both with 18 points.

Thank you to all the families who took part in this challenge.

The Roundhay Adder!

Posted on Thursday 21 May 2020 by Mr Wain

Will has been hard at work with a very creative art project!

Will has come up with an idea that is sure to bring a sense of community and togetherness, whilst also sharing his own art skills and encouraging others to share theirs, too!

The Roundhay Adder is a snake made up of decorative rocks of which anybody can add to!

It currently stands at over 50 rocks!

Keep up the good work, Will!

Hello!

Posted on Sunday 17 May 2020 by Mr Wilks

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re doing well. I’ve attached a few photos of my lockdown which has involved lots of den building, walking in Gledhow Valley Woods (spot the ducklings), taking my cat for a walk (long story), buying crocs (a clear sign of my middle age),  and my greatest accomplishment: learning to do plaits!
